Connect Notion

1. Open usefull.io and log in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Open Connected accounts.
4. Find Notion.
5. Click Connect.
6. Approve the Notion authorization screen.
7. If Notion asks where to add the integration, choose the workspace you want usefull.io to use.
8. Return to usefull.io.

After connection, the Notion card should show your connected workspace.

Choose auto-export categories

1. In Profile -> Connected accounts, open the Notion row.
2. Use Open in Notion to inspect the root page created for usefull.io.
3. In Category auto-export, turn on the categories you want to sync.
4. Wait for the sync status to update.

When auto-export is on for a category, matching saved cards are queued for Notion export.

Recreate databases

Use Recreate databases only if the Notion databases were deleted, the Notion page was moved in a way that broke export, or support asks you to refresh the managed databases.

This refreshes the managed database links in usefull.io.

Troubleshooting

• If Connect returns to usefull.io but Notion is still disconnected, try connecting again.
• If a category says failed, open the beta Telegram group and send a screenshot.
• If you revoked usefull.io in Notion, reconnect Notion from Profile -> Connected accounts.
• If you do not see expected pages in Notion, use Open in Notion from the Notion section and check the usefull.io root page.

Step 1: Request your Instagram export

Instagram's interface changes from time to time. The current official route is through Meta Accounts Center.

1. Open Instagram.
2. Go to your profile.
3. Open the menu.
4. Open Accounts Center.
5. Open Your information and permissions.
6. Choose Export your information or Download your information.
7. Create a new export.
8. Choose the Instagram account you want to export from.
9. Choose saved content or saved posts if Instagram lets you select a subset. If not, export all information.
10. Choose Download to device.
11. Choose format: JSON.
12. Choose date range: All time.
13. Start the export.

Instagram may take from minutes to a few hours to prepare the file.

Step 2: Download the ZIP from Instagram

1. Open the download link from Instagram after the export-ready email arrives.
2. Download the ZIP file.
3. Keep it zipped. You do not need to extract it unless upload fails.

The usefull.io importer reads only saved-post files from the archive.

Step 3: Upload to usefull.io

1. Open usefull.io and log in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Open the Library section.
4. Find Instagram saved-post import.
5. Click Import saved posts.
6. Upload the full Instagram ZIP export, saved_collections.json, or saved_posts.json.
7. Wait for the upload result.

The result shows how many items were found, queued, skipped as duplicates, or skipped because of the daily import cap.

Step 4: Wait for processing

Imported posts are queued for processing. They will appear in your dashboard as usefull.io finishes downloading and analyzing them.

You can check import progress from Profile -> Library -> Instagram saved-post import or from the dashboard import progress block when an import is active.

Troubleshooting

• If upload says no saved files were found, make sure the export was JSON, not HTML.
• If the ZIP is too large, extract it and upload only saved_collections.json or saved_posts.json.
• If many items are skipped as duplicates, they are already in your library.
• If items are skipped by the daily cap, wait until the next day and import again.
• If Instagram has not emailed the export yet, wait and check the same Accounts Center export screen.

Send your usefull.io account email, whether you uploaded ZIP or JSON, the exact error message, and a screenshot of the import result. Do not send your full Instagram export unless support explicitly asks for a small sample file.
