Keep the books from BookTok and Bookstagram in one reading list

"Top 5 books that shaped me" — usefull.io turns book recommendation videos into a reading list with titles, authors and the reason to read each one.

The demo works for anyone. Your own library opens with an invite: usefull.io is in early access.

Every book from that post, on your list!

Every book from the video with its author and the creator's reason to read it.

What you get

  • Titles and authorsPulled from speech, captions and book covers on screen.
  • Why it mattersA short summary of the recommendation stays with the book.
  • Any languageRussian, English and other languages in the same library.

How it works

  1. Share a book Reel or TikTok to usefull.io.
  2. usefull.io lists each book with its author, genre and summary.
  3. Open Books in your library when you need your next read.

Reading lists you never read

Book videos move fast: a cover, a sentence, the next cover. Saving the Reel keeps the video, but the five titles are still locked inside it.

What a reading-list card holds

Each book gets its title, author, genre and a one-line reason from the creator. Every book from a list of five, ten or twenty lands in Books on its own, with a Goodreads button and a link back to the post.

Titles are kept in the language of the source, so a Russian list stays readable to you while the summary follows your library language.

Limits

If a video only shows a cover for a split second, a title can be missed or marked as uncertain. Sending the book to Goodreads automatically is not available.

Questions

Does it read the book covers in the video?
