Build a watchlist from the movie Reels you saved

"Three kind films for a quiet evening" — saved, then forgotten. usefull.io turns film and series recommendations into a watchlist you can open when it's actually movie night.

The demo works for anyone. Your own library opens with an invite: usefull.io is in early access.

Every movie from that post, on your list!

Watchlist Title · year · genre
A saved Instagram carousel with must-watch movies and series and the card of The Housemaid from it, with its rating
Each recommended film or series becomes a row with its year, genre and a short summary of why it was recommended.

What you get

  • All titles at onceEvery film from a top-10 Reel lands in Movies, poster included.
  • Context keptGenre, year and the reason it was recommended.
  • Pick by moodAsk for "something light from my watchlist" later.

How it works

  1. Share a film or series Reel or TikTok to usefull.io.
  2. usefull.io extracts every title with its year, genre and summary.
  3. Open Movies in your library or ask the Telegram bot when it's time to watch.

From "must watch" to actually watching

Recommendation Reels are some of the most saved videos and some of the least used. The titles flash by, the list is split across slides, and by the weekend you can't remember which one sounded good.

What a watchlist card contains

For each title usefull.io keeps the name, the release year, genres and a short summary in plain words. When the film is found in TMDB, it also gets the poster, runtime and rating, and a Letterboxd button. A real example: a carousel of 14 films and series added Challengers, Mickey 17, Sentimental Value and Train Dreams to Movies with their posters and ratings.

Series work the same way, so a "14 comfort series" carousel becomes fourteen posters you can scroll instead of fourteen slides.

Choosing what to watch

Open the Movies category and sort by newest, or ask the Telegram bot for "a drama from my saves". Because the summary is stored with the title, you can decide without rewatching the Reel.

Limits

Titles are taken from what the video says and shows. If a creator only shows a poster without the name, usefull.io may miss it or mark it as uncertain. Where-to-watch information is not included yet.

Questions

Does it work with series too?

Yes. Films and TV series are both saved in the Movies category.

Can it tell me where to stream a film?

Not yet. Streaming availability is not part of the card today.
