What you get

How it works

  1. Copy your server address from usefull.io: Profile → AI assistants.
  2. In ChatGPT on the web open chatgpt.com/plugins, click +, then Add custom MCP server.
  3. Paste the address, keep OAuth, confirm the warning and create the plugin.
  4. Sign in to usefull.io and click Allow access.
  5. In a new chat type @, pick usefull.io and ask your question.

Who can connect

Custom MCP connectors work in ChatGPT on the web, on plans that allow them — OpenAI currently lists Pro, Business and Enterprise/Edu. In Business and Enterprise workspaces an admin may need to allow or add the connector. The option is not available in the mobile apps.

What ChatGPT can do with it

usefull.io exposes four read-only tools: search your library by words, category, filters or dates; count saves; open one card with full details such as ingredients, steps, addresses and links; and an overview by category. ChatGPT decides when to call them based on your question.

How long does access last?

Up to 30 days without use; it renews while you keep using it. Disconnect any time in your usefull.io profile.
