Find a Reel in your usefull.io library by what you remember

You remember the dish, not the creator or the date. Write to the usefull.io bot the way you would ask a friend — "the salmon recipe from last week" — and it searches everything you've sent to usefull.io and sends the matching cards back.

The demo works for anyone. Your own library opens with an invite: usefull.io is in early access.

What you get

  • Any wordingRussian, English or a mix — describe it how you remember it.
  • Follow-ups"And the second one?" or "send the map link" just work.
  • Real results onlyAnswers come from your saved cards, not from the internet.

How it works

  1. Open @usefull_io_bot in Telegram and link it to your usefull.io account.
  2. Send a message describing what you are looking for, or use /search with keywords.
  3. Open a card from the reply, or ask a follow-up about it.

Search the way you remember

Saved folders are sorted by date, but memory isn't. You remember "a cheesecake without baking" or "that bar with a view in Lisbon". The usefull.io bot turns a message like that into a search over your own library: titles, descriptions, ingredients, cities, authors and categories.

What you can ask

Find: "recipes with chickpeas", "films I saved about tennis". Count: "how many places did I save in Paris?". Open: "show the full recipe" — the bot sends ingredients and steps. Narrow down: "only the quick ones", "just the second one". The bot keeps the last few messages of the conversation, so follow-ups refer to what it just showed you.

How it works

Every plain text message to the bot is treated as a question about your library. An AI model reads it and calls the same read-only tools that power ChatGPT and Claude connections: search, count, open a card and an overview by category. If the model is unsure, a plain full-text search is used instead. The bot never changes your library while answering.

Limits

The bot only knows what is in your usefull.io library — it does not search Instagram or the web. Very vague questions ("that video") return the most recent matches; adding one detail usually fixes it.

Questions

Do I need to type commands?

No. Any text message is a question. /search and /ask are there if you prefer commands.

Can it answer in Russian?

Yes. Ask in Russian, English or a mix of both.

Can the bot change or delete my saves?

No. Search uses read-only tools.
